There is a large development that was proposed a few weeks ago at the City Council Meeting, but it faced some serious opposition, so I attended the meeting where our council members voted, to see how it turned out. I'm friends with one of the councilmen, and he txt me to speak, so I mustered up a little bravery, and spoke on behalf of the project (which passed)!! A few days later, one of the Leaders of LR said she was watching the meeting from home (they stream it live), and she awarded me class credit for speaking! It was a fun experience, but I'll better prepare next time. :)
